Why don’t we have domestic droids yet?

I know< we have the technology. Have engineers the world over just given up? I’d love to have a small droid running around the house…he would be constantly wifi connected, so I could use my phone to give him commands and see through his little electric eyes. He could vacuum, dust, carry laundry baskets up and down stairs, be a guard dog, even complex things like scrubbing sinks might be easy to do.

This can’t be that hard!
